Clowns and clown sympathizers are holding a protest one week from now to change the public’s perception of them.
The “Clown Lives Matter” march will take place Oct. 15 in Tucson, Arizona.
“This is a peaceful way to show clowns are not psycho killers,” an advertisement for the event assured potential attendees. “We want the public to feel safe, and not be afraid. So come out, bring the family, meet a clown and get a hug!”
Is anyone going to support this besides begrudging wives, husbands, parents and children of clowns?
And could they have picked a worse name for their movement? This is one step up from a Straight Pride Parade.
Everyone from Time Magazine to Stephen King and White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest have commented on America’s current clown crisis. If even a single one of the creepy clown sighting stories are true, f*ck those guys! This is the one time I’ll fight for segregation. Clowns need to stay in their designated, expected areas: circuses, fairs and children’s wards.
You know whose life matters? Mine.
If I look out the window at night and see a clown, I’ll die.
If I see a clown in the woods while I’m walking home, I’ll die.
If I see a clown doing anything besides juggling for kids in the aforementioned locations, I’ll die.
Clown Lives Matter has already been a thing for years. It’s called Gathering of the Juggalos and it’s horrible.
