What’s the easiest way to tell if your spouse doesn’t like your cooking?
One surefire indicator is if they look at your meal and immediately throw rock-hard burritos at your head and chase you with scissors.
This is exactly what happened to 59-year-old Douglas Levy of Bay City, MI after his wife noticed he was preparing the world’s most popular vegetable for dinner.
“I DON’T WANT A POTATO,” she reportedly yelled right before she started violently grabbing frozen items out of the fridge and tossing them at him.
Roberta Levy—a known drug addict—told the police she was merely using the scissors to cut the plastic off the burrito she was heating up in the microwave.
She admitted to arguing with him but completely denied the charges.
The court disagreed, slapping Roberta with one count of domestic violence and one count of assault with a dangerous weapon (the scissors).
